About the Origins
Brazil has a long-standing reputation as one of the world's most important coffee origins, producing a wide variety of coffees across diverse landscapes and growing regions. Brazilian coffees are often celebrated for their natural sweetness, smooth body, and comforting chocolate and nutty characteristics, making them a favourite foundation for many specialty blends.
Rwanda, known as the "Land of a Thousand Hills," has become one of Africa's most exciting specialty coffee origins. Its mountainous terrain, volcanic soils, and high-altitude growing conditions provide an ideal environment for producing coffees with remarkable clarity, vibrant fruit flavours, and elegant complexity. Many Rwandan coffees are produced by smallholder farmers who carefully hand-pick cherries at peak ripeness to preserve quality from farm to cup.
Together, these two origins create a fascinating balance—Brazil brings warmth, sweetness, and depth, while Rwanda adds brightness, fruit, and a sense of adventure. The result is a blend that showcases how different coffee cultures can come together to create something truly unique.
